Hello Akki,
It's very difficult to get a lateral admission in another state. Almost, all states have put restrictions on students with domiciles of the state only to be eligible. Hence it is better if you think of seeking admission in your own state via lateral mode.

The reason is that it gives you a broader knowledge in the mechanical domain, which includes the aerospace domain as well. Another reason is that organizations in India, whether Public or Private, prefer mechanical engineers for their broad spectrum of knowledge. Aerospace engineering focuses more on the aerospace and aeronautics industry and is an apt cou

Hello Jaswanth,
Firstly I would like to quite two proverbs: "There is always room at the top" & "where there is a will, there is a way". Presently, the job opportunities in India are indeed very less. But with time, I am sure these will keep improving. But do not confuse engineering with working on civil aircraft. For this, you have to do AME. But most importantly, select that path in life which you like. Select the branch that you like. Set aim and then work towards achieving it.
Best wishes.
