It's good to know your dream. There are two ways of getting into merchant Navy. One as an officer and the other as sailor. Both are equally good. Since life involves some hardships, pay & allowances are extremely good. Many companies in this field have schools for training as sailor including shipping corporation of India . JEE Mains needs to be cleared with good marks to get admission in any of the NIT's in any branch including Aeronautical. If you want to get admission in any IIT then you have to score above cutoff of JEE Mains and then score good marks in JEE Advanced.
For admission into your state, you need to clear entrance exam of the state.
