The condition for applying to a Lateral entry program is that you must have a diploma in engineering and without which you are not eligible to apply for the course. The eligibility criteria and the admission norms differs from one institute to another. I would suggest you to visit and contact the institute personally for detailed help regarding your query.

First of all understand the difference between PGDM and MBA. The main difference between PGDM and MBA is that PGDM is a postgraduate diploma which is given by stand alone / Autonomous Institutes which come under the jurisdiction of AICTE like IIMs, XLRI, SP Jain etc. And MBA is a degree program provided only by Unversities and come under the jurisdiction of UGC like JBIMS and FMS, PUMBA, these B-schools are university depts. of their respective university.
