For NIT MBA you need to appear for CAT once you clear CAT and get the desired cut off you will be able to go ahead and appear for GD & PI. To sit for an MBA Entrance i.e CAT you need to have 50% and above aggregate scores in Graduation from a recognized University.

As for a free of cost course that you are looking for, there are rarely any such degree (distance) offering institutes.
