Hi Shanmukha, if you're already pursuing Engineering then I'd recommend you to go for 3 year LLB. 5 year LLB is also an option but it's longer and ideal for those who have finished their 10+2 but for graduates, there's a 3-year LLB Programme that they can enroll. It's comprehensive, and you will be eligible to practice law on finishing the Course. The weightage is the same on both the courses. However, for NLU's you have to appear for CLAT and on qualifying the exam you can get admission in one of the NLU's. But CLAT is for 5 year LLB and not for 3 year LLB. So choose wisely. Yes, you can definitely go for B.Sc in Mathematics through distance education after completion of your Bachelor of engineering. Normally speaking, the eligibility for B.Sc in mathematics will be class 12th, and I am sure, you would have done your class 12th before entering into Engineering College. Hence, as per my opinion, you will be eligible for your desired course in this university, providing distance education. However, to be on the safer side, I would like to advise you to download the information brochure and application form, which comes in PDF form and go through it fully about eligibility conditions for BSc in mathematics.
