As you are a commerce student, there are many career opportunities you can consider, either from a commerce background itself or the Science background.

1. You need to first possess a student pilot license. You must be over 17 years of age and have completed 12th in Science (Physics and mathematics) with 50%.
2. Your vision in one eye must be perfect. In general medical terminology, it is called 6/6 eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6.
3. General physical fitness is mandatory. You must be free of any disease that can hamper normal function.
4. You need to register at a flying club which is recognised by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India.

You will get admission if you meet the admission requirements. Also, admission decisions are taken by the universities, every university has different admission criteria, selectivity etc. Take your IELTS, check university websites for the requirements and start the application process.

For Airline job, you have to further do a type rating which costs an additional 16-24 lacs. (I did TR after getting the job, but I had to pay for it)
So, yes it is expensive. Job opportunities come up with time but are very limited and highly competitive. There are about 100 airline openings for freshers a year in India and there are already 6000+ unemployed CPL holders with around 500+ type rated guys. The program is taught both in English and Russian. You can opt to learn in either one of the language. It is mentioned on the website too that candidates for studying in English must pass an English test in order to show their English level and candidates for studying in Russian language must pass Russian test.
