There are separate books available for different topics in JAM Geology. So, buying these books separately for each topic is not a good idea. The JEE Mains Exam Results have been announced and the students might be looking for admission in the best engineering colleges of India
The JEE Mains exam was held on 8th April in offline mode and was held in online mode on 15th and 16th April 2018.
The cut-off for JEE Mains exam was as follows:
General-74 marks
OBC-45 marks
SC-29 marks
ST-24 marks
Seeing the cut-off marks for JEE Mains exam, the cut-off marks for the Vishwakarma University exam is around 155 marks for the general category student.

No, you can't get either of those branches if you are from the general category but if you have BC reservation, then you can get the IT branch. Other reservations (SC, ST) can fetch you CSE seat in VR Siddhartha College of Engineering. Good luck for your future.

Since you haven't mentioned that from which field or branch you have done your B.Sc. I will assume that it should be IT/Computer. As per placement record both colleges have a good package. NIT, Surat has an average of 8 lack per annum. While Kurukshetra has an average of 5 LPA. In terms of academics and whether both are good. For a North Indian guy Kurukshetra will be better option.
