Both the options are good and followed by many students. By dropping, you will only able to clear intermediate exam. But if you go for Diploma in computer Science and work hard, then after one year, you will have only two years to get Diploma certificate. So you can get a job also with Diploma. So, go for Diploma. Appear for CMAT and MAT exams and apply for colleges taking them. These exams do not require 50% in graduation.

Sure, if you have been given two different admit cards you can surely attend on both the dates, I think the unique IDs that is Board Card and roll numbers will be given after the scores so go for the one which is better.
