Thapar is one of the best private colleges in India according to NIRF ranking and also with respect to placement. Placement is quite good here in comparison to newer NITs or IIITs. The highest placement is 23-24 LPA and the average is near about 4 LPA. Thapar is best in terms of infrastructure, campus, placement, etc. So, yes it's worth the money.

BITS Pilani is one of the best college of the country. After completing your M.Sc mathematics degree from this college you will definitely get a job in a good company through campus recruitment itself. Their placement in engineering department of CSE is in top 10 colleges of India. Placement scenario is very good in this college.
