You can further take admission in courses such as English (Hons) or Economics (Hons). Any of these subjects can be taken as per your interest and convenience for completing a Bachelor's degree. Also, going for higher studies in these courses will provide you a career in educational field or research field. You can write columns in newspaper as well side by side doing Bachelor's degree. There are a lot of opportunities, you just need to identify the most suitable one for yourself. You c

With this rank, it is difficult to get mechanical engineering at VIT-Vellore campus under category 1 and 2. You might get under categories 3,4 or 5 but chances are less. You can try for the Chennai campus and other campuses of VIT.

Thapar is one of the best private colleges in India according to NIRF ranking and also with respect to placement. Placement is quite good here in comparison to newer NITs or IIITs. The highest placement is 23-24 LPA and the average is near about 4 LPA. Thapar is best in terms of infrastructure, campus, placement, etc. So, yes it's worth the money.

Hello Diwaan,
You have good scores in both the exams and hence there are good chances of getting a seat at Sastra University. But the branch which you could get is difficult to predict since the competition is very high. Hence you may try your best during the counselling to get the branch you wish for.
