Hello Sunil! Only having a good CAT score(99+ percentile for older IIMs) isn't enough. You also need to meet their eligibility criteria, have good academic scores, and perform really well in their What-PI rounds to get selected.

Hello Rajnish,
You have managed to pass but not with gr8 marks. I think you should analyse as to what are your passion? Which subjects interests you? If you align your subjects of graduation with this, it would be gr8.

You can pursue any of these courses. But without attempting any entrance test for respective courses you cannot get a seat in any reputed colleges. You will have to get the degree from private college.

If you are preparing on your own, then I recommend books published by Cambridge, British Council or IDP. Cambridge has 11 volumes starting from 1 which has variety of questions for each component, with various difficulty levels. Start from Volume 1 and go up to 9. Once you have completed these 9 volumes, you can use 10 and 11 as mock tests (particularly for listening and reading).

Hi Janagam,
You should score 95+ percentile in CAT to get into IIMs. Further, IIMs short-list candidates based on Personal Interviews (PI) and Group Discussion (GD). Apart from these, graduation percentage is also a factor for admission into IIMs.
You can visit the official websites for complete information.
