If you mean full time MBA or PGDM program then please remember in order to pursue full time MBA or PGDM program you need to be graduate in any field with atleast 50% marks in graduation.
As per your query it seems that you have completed your MA also in that case I would suggest you to look for a job and work 1-2 years and then opt for MBA through distance education as it will further enhance your career prospects.

Though work experience is preferred but it is not the sole criteria for admission into a PGDM programme.
IFMR gives a profile based call to students for further rounds.
So having work experience is not given too much weightage.
