Hi Vishal,
Here is my honest review. I am measuring XIMR on two parameters – education and placements. For education – the college is pretty good. It has a very experienced faculty. For placements – the college is modest, though it is improving its record. There is still some improvement needed as the potential for placements is very huge.
XIMR is a place where your success depends on yourself. The resources are there – the library, the computer centre, the classrooms and the huge meeting or discussion rooms. But all of the successes and your learning depend on how well you use these resources for your own benefits and advantages

Hello Amar,
All these colleges are not up to the mark. They aren't top ranked engineering colleges. Placements are not really good. If you don't have any other option apart from these, I would say Acharya should be your choice. Please don't go for neither RR or Saptagiri. You can expect campus drive at Acharya.
All the best.

BBA program usually includes general business courses and advanced courses for specific functional areas such as Finance, HR, IT, Marketing etc to give students exposure on all management functions and specializations. I am of the opinion that students should not go for specialization at BBA but based on their interest and good understanding of subjects chose specialization at MBA stage.

MMS is a Mumbai University program, and the degree will be awarded by the university, whereas PGDM is a fully autonomous program, which is conducted by Somaiya. While the difference isn't much, PGDM is more flexible and changes are made very quickly as per the changing demands of the industry. Placements for both PGDM and MMS are conducted together and there is no difference in the packages.

Scope is plenty in the media sector both in India and abroad. USA, UK are some of the best destinations for media studies. You can get a good job if you have the skills, motivation, qualification etc. The internship which you will be doing during your course is very important here.

Getting into a good BMM university will help you network with the right employers.
