Hi,
No tally is not d software on which bank works,they mainly works on finance made by infosys or other there own software .actually they have an ERP based software to work .so if you want to join the bank just approach with positive attitude and with a zeal to learn and grow and rest left on bank they will provide a best guidance for learning there software.You don't mentioned your qualification here otherwise i will tell you the best option available in banking sector .

You should select the programming language in which you have interest and in which u want to go because for doing job in software field it is must required that u have full knowledge about programming language. now a day Android has more demand. Because it has extra benefit with programming language. Computers,mobile or rather software designing is such a field in which one can enter very easily.
