The fees for the course in visual arts depends on the course you are pursuing i.e. whether its Bachelors,certificate, diploma or a post graduate course. The fees may range from INR 23,000 to INR 3.5 lakhs for the entire course.

Here is the Eligibility Criteria to get into NSD:
Graduation in any subject from a recognized university in India and abroad
Participation in at least 6 theatre productions
Working knowledge of Hindi and English
Age limit: Minimum 20 years maximum 30 years (as on July 1, 2014)
Selection Criteria
An expert committee constituted by the School will assess the aptitude and talent of the candidates and its decision will be final.
A preliminary test/audition will be conducted at five centres, Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Guwahati
