Hello Aditya,
For JBIMS, last year the cutoff for general category was 99.92 percentile. So chances are less on this front. You can check the cutoff of previous year's first cap round through the below link: http://fileserver.mkcl.org/mba2017/CAP-I/2017MBA_CAP1_CutOff.pdf?did=1765.
If you would like to check the cut-off of subsequent cap rounds, visit the below link: https://mba2017.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/StaticPages/HomePage.aspx.
If you are OMS (Other than Maharashtra state) candidate then your CET score will be considered for All India seats. The cutoff percentile for All India Seats is usually 99.99 percentile.
Would suggest you to take

Hello Vamsi,
Unfortunately, every state is restricting admissions to only domiciles of that state. So is Tamil Nadu. Hence, I feel you have almost no chance of getting admission here. However, I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about eligibility.

Better to go for MBA as it will open a number of opportunities not only in economics but also in the field of finance, marketing, operations, HR. There are numerous opportunities in these fields. You will get ample amount of opportunities to work in your field of interest. You can test yourself with fields like investment banking, relationship manager, risk analyst, brand manager, strategy manager, product research analyst, consultant and many more. So, in my view from a career and job prospective MBA is a better option.

Hello Avadhesh,
It's very nice to see your dream of seeking admission in IITs or NITs. The situation is that IITs accept Diploma as equivalent to 12th but unfortunately NITs do not. Hence, tighten your belt and go all out with aim of clearing JEE Mains and JEE Advanced with good marks so that you will get admission in an IIT. Also, don't forget to score more than 75% in your Diploma.

Chances are very less to get calls from good government MBA colleges but you can try for NITs. Durgapur, Rourkela, Hamirpur and few others might accept this score for management school. You can try for other state engineering colleges if they have a management wing. Generally, government colleges (even tier-II/III) have good ROI and have very fewer seats for management, hence it will be difficult to get one.

Hi,
Most of the MNCs or SMEs they recruit candidates who have done their Masters from Distance Mode. However, it depends company to company. What I have heard if this is a recognised Distance university or Institute then there is no problem but there are certain institutes they are not in white list according to their own policy. If possible, please check with HR dept first or your Line manager.
