It depends on which course you want to opt for in PG in future.
It can be either MBA, M.Tech or any other course.
For MBA, you have to clear CAT exam to get admission in IIMs.
For M.Tech, you have to clear GATE exam as it is important to clear this exam before applying for M.Tech in colleges and to get a job in PSUs.

Hi Jayanti Sagar,It will depend on your programme level and the university's admission requirements. Generally, the chances are very slim that you will get admission only on basis of IELTS. You must also see which colleges prefer IELTS, since TOEFL is the widely accepted one in USA. If you are applying for Bachelor's degree then SAT or ACT is compulsory. If you are applying for PG courses, then GRE or GMAT is compulsory and under no circumstances, they will be waived unless you are applying to such a programme, which may not require these tests. You should start visiting university websites for admission requirements.

Hi Rony,
2017 placements will start from this October. So, you have to wait till then, but if you want you can check out previous years placement records (2017). It will give you a fair idea about the companies and the fee structure differs every year, though, you can expect it to be between 4.5 to 5 LPA.

Hi Prajakta,
I don't think gender has anything to do with the MBA specialization. However, girls are seen to have a flair towards human resource management, they do well dealing with people issues, and also this field is somewhat less stressful. But, go with your own interest. Consulting, Finance, Marketing etc. Are other options. In India or abroad, well if you get into b-schools like IIM or ISB, then choose India otherwise, please try to get into a reputed b-school abroad.

Hello!
Unfortunately, there is not even a decent B-school anywhere in India where one can get admission with that low score in the CAT exam. And the ones you might get won't simply be worth enough to pursue MBA; a total waste of both your precious time I.e. 2 years and money (in Lacs). I suggest you to either reappear for CAT (or other exams as per your wish) next year or focus on the other upcoming exams like MAH-MBA CET and MAT. Wish you good luck!
