Yeah, you can apply for B.Sc (Airlines, Tourism and Hospitality) at LPU even if you're from a commerce background. From what I've seen, the course is open to students from any stream (Arts, Commerce, or Science) as long as you meet the basic percentage requirement.

Compared to many colleges that restrict courses by stream, LPU is more flexible here. So commerce students also get a fair chance, and the course focuses more on skills like communication, management, and industry exposure.

Hello Shubha,
With it's vast area spread over almost 700 acres of land, Karunya offers a serene atmosphere for studies. It has enough hostel facilities to accommodate girls and boys. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about different aspects of Karunya Univercity. However, nowhere could I find any mention of compulsory residential learning. However to be on safer side, I suggest that please approach registrar for confirmation of this.http://www.karunya.edu/infrastructure
Best wishes to you.

Hi,
Instead of MCA, I would suggest you to begin a career as a business analyst. There is a growing requirement for business analytics professionals in the industry. According to the research by LinkedIn, Statistical Analysis and Data Mining skills (part of business analytics) ranked number 1 in the list of 25 the hottest skills of 2014 on LinkedIn. In fact rank no 2 (Storage Systems and Management), 12 (Data Presentation), 18 (Business Intelligence) and 19 (Data Engineering and Data Warehousing) are also a part of Business Analytics. We can assure you that by 2020, the numbers will only grow.

Entrance syllabus will available from website once the forms are released. You can search on the internet for precious year question papers as university doesn't provide it on its website I believe.
Admission would be followed by entrance then GD and PI. Combined score will decide the admission. The forms will be out on Feb second week. And the entrance will be in June. So you should start preparing now. The entrance will not be that much difficult.
You can divide the syllabus accordingly and just devote your regular time. Cover topics which are known to you and excel in that. You can crack the entrance.
All the best! :)
