The eligibility for food and nutrition is qualifying the 10+2 examination in any relevant stream of Arts/Science/Commerce. So, if you do not have Science background you can apply, but do check the eligibility before applying to any college.

It depends on what kind of job you are looking for in future. If you are inclined towards a leadership/managerial role, then MBA is preferred. If you are looking to develop on technical and analytical skills, then M.Sc is preferred. Also, MBA normally requires a work ex while M.Sc can be done directly after undergrad also.

Hello,
To appear in CSIR UGC NET Exam Candidates must have a degree in B.Pharma or BE or B.Tech or M.Sc. Or MBBS or Integrated BS-MS or any other Science degree with at least 55% marks. If you fulfill all the above-mentioned criteria then you can apply for the CSIR NET Exam.
The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research will conduct the CSIR UGC NET 2019 Exam in July. Be prepared for it.

The eligibility is as below. The candidate applying for the exam must have cleared Class 12 examination or equivalent. Also, this should be inclusive of International Baccalaureate Diploma in any stream. This Diploma must be attained from a recognised Board at first attempt.
