The eligibility criteria for IPMAT 2017 is as follows:
The candidate should have scored a minimum of 60% in class 10th/SSC and class 12th/ HSC or equivalent examination in case of general and NC-OBC category. Also, the candidate should be of maximum 20 years of age as on July 31, 2017. The candidate should have scored a minimum of 55% in class 10th/SSC and class 12th/ HSC or equivalent examination in case of SC, ST and PWD (DA) category. Earlier, the candidate should have had mathematics as a compulsory subject in class 12th/ HSC or equivalent examinations. However, this criteria has now been removed. Candidates who do have mathematics as their core subject can also apply for the examination.

After B.Sc, the position you will get in jobs will have very less payable amount and position is also not so well so at least you have M.Sc. Degree for applying good positions in chemical companies (like R&D) but also without a Ph.D. you increment to higher officials is not that much easy so if you want to go to an industry you have to do a Ph.D. otherwise you have different PSU after the completing the M.Sc. Like ONGC, BARC and others by GATE and by giving the UPSC Chemistry exam you got the GSI-Geochemist and the educators at different online platform or after successfully getting JRF you applied for assistant professors at different colleges.

B.Com honors is a three year undergraduate degree program to provide the student with a wide range of skills in area of commerce, accounting and management. It also helps in preparing the students for business enterprises in account and finance roles. Some universities allow students to specialize in a particular subject in a final year. Some universities offer B.Com degree course.
Majority of syllabus of B.Com (P) and B.Com (Honors) is same. B.Com (P) gives an overview of various subject, where same course in honors has more depth and content. In B.Com (P), you cannot specialize but in honors degree student can specialize.
The cut off for B.Com honors is higher in comparison to B.Com (Pass). The B.Com honors graduates from prestigious colleges like SRCC, DU are in high demand.
