Hello Abhishek,
As a matter of fact, you need to open a blocked account for obtaining a visa for Germany.
As per current guidlines from the German Embassy you need to have 8040 Euros in you bank accout for obtaining the visa.
This amount if equivalent to your 1 year living expenese in Germany (640 x 12).
To be specific to your query, for visa, funds equivalent to 8040 euros are sufficient.
