The marks were low overall this year, but the percentile is also calculated according to that. Last year's cutoff mark was 169. So this year it might go down to 150-160. So if your marks are around that, you can expect a positive result. But still, as AICTE doesn't give State Ranks, you cannot say anything. Despite of the marks gained, you've to secure top 50 rank in Gujarat. With your result, you'll get admission in many good colleges. Keep on checking http://www.jacpcldce.ac.in/mba.asp for more updates.
Thank you. Keep asking.

Although, it is advisable to go for further studies if you are looking for a good career growth, but if you want to go for job immediately after completing your graduation, the salary package would largely depend on your own capabilities, how you have performed on the programme, how you use the knowledge earned at the time of job interviews. Well 5.5 is a very low score to get into any university abroad. I suggest you to appear in IELTS and this time prepare well and target at least 6.5 bands. As almost all of the universities require minimum 6.5 bands in IELTS with no bands in IELTS and even for visa you need to have a good score in IELTS.
