Well Prerna, if you have to pursue courses then do in a field where you acquire skills rather than knowledge. Design is a field that is age old and has been evolving every year like science. Sometimes student Artists are too much enamoured by Fine Arts preventing them to look objectively at Design. They must read this http://bit.ly/SXc9GD. Again like science it pays to be at the cutting edge. For e.g. science students do better if they go for CS or IT since that are areas where development is taking place rapidly. Similarly in Design the cutting edge areas are UID/ UXD, 3D Printing, Immersive Technology, Augmented Reality, 3D Projectio

Hi Nischaya,
Good to see your concern regarding your studies.
As far as question is concerned answer is no. CFA is a certification course on the other hand MBA is a course offered by a recognized university. However if you have done a bachelors degree and want to pursue MBA then you may surely pursue. In fact MBA in finance would be a good options for you.

I strongly suggest that you should be on the job and look at pursuing any program. As far as the CFA program is concerned, you should look beyond CFA. There are lot of programs offered by the NSE and BSE, apart from various institutes which offer specialized programs in various areas of finance. Once you narrow down on the function, in which you want to make your career, your decision will be more pragmatic

CFA salary will vary based on the type of job, years of work experience, employer, and other factors. For an entry level CFA charter the average annual salary is about Rs.2,35,790. If one gains an experience of about one to four years, the average annual salary may get to some-where around Rs.4,87,900. Adding up another 10 or more years to the experience level, a CFA graduate can draw an annual salary of Rs.8,15,700 to Rs.12,86,100.
