It is always advisable to carry all the marksheet which are available with you. Imagine how would it be like if they ask for it and you don't have it. Better safe than sorry!

Dear Abhishek,
The increased use of geospatial technology in different industries has improved the scope of job opportunities in GIS and Remote Sensing. Every area ranging from missile and unmanned aerial vehicle technology to urban administration, e-governance, remote sensing and even advertising and marketing today depend on geo-spatial data.
The skills required to be a successful GIS professional changed and evolved over the years. Though an elective of the civil engineering stream, it can also be taken up by the students of other subjects, especially geography and geology, as a specialisation.
All the best.

Dear Sudhanshu,
Both the institutes mentioned by you are equally good and thus it will be very difficult to tell which one will be the best option. However, we can help you with the parameters that you can keep in mind while choosing an institute. You can consider the below parameters :
1) Faculty,
2) Affiliation / Recognition
3) Course Material,
4) Quality Education,
5) Fees
6) Infrastructure
7) Success Rate.
8) Placement
9) Top recruiting companies.
Also, if possible go through the alumni speak section to get an idea what the alumni thinks about the institute.
Hope this information helps. Please feel free to revert.
Wish you luck.

Yes, absolutely! There is no criteria which states that you cannot. Just the fact that if you have to get an admission, you need to do well in the interview and when they ask, you need to convincingly explain to them why you could not complete the course in the given time.
