University of Toronto is the no.1 university in Canada. For UG courses in finance, these are the best three colleges in terms of ranking and they follow the exact order as mentioned: University of Toronto is followed by Western, a very close tie. University of Waterloo is behind them.

For best placements, legacy IIT's at Kanpur, Mumbai, Chennai and Delhi are the best for computer science. If you can't get in here then may be Amrita/Amity/BITS are some of the options in the private arena, you can go forward for.

Universities those offer other degrees along with engineering, named their engineering degree as BE (Bachelor of Engineering) and Institute constituted for only engineering studies named their degree as B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology).
One can simply have a broad idea that,
BE is knowledge oriented.
B.Tech is skill oriented.
BE is more theoretical and B.Tech is more practical.
