You must be knowing the difference between the two, however what I can suggest is you need to learn about the career outcomes of both, which career will you enjoy the most or dream about. Production or manufacturing engineering will basically train you for research, design and development of systems, machines, processes etc. Chemical engineering is the study and practice of transforming substances at large scales. After completing your 12 you have a lot of options to go for. You have B.Com, BCA, B.Tech, B.Sc etc at this stage. It solely depends on your future plans and interest that which one you go for. Also you have courses like fashion designng, journalism etc. These courses require a lot of practical exposure to students. You need to be at least a graduate in order to appear for civil services exam. I can suggest you to pursue your graduation from somewhere else from a good college offering scholarship along with part time work opportunity. Meanwhile prepare for your exams.
