For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply.

You need to be at least 17 years old and should have qualified 10+2 with maths, chemistry and physics. Training to become a pilot is quite laborious and expensive. Being a diploma holder in mechanical engineering you can apply for fresher jobs in Dubai. The Institution of Engineers (India) conducts an examination that qualifies a candidate as an Associate Member of the Institute of Engineers (India). This offers recourse to those who have not been able to pursue a regular engineering course. The AMIE (I) is considered on par with B.E / B.Tech degrees for competitive exams like the Civil Services, Engineering Services, GATE, and for placement in government, the public and private sectors.
