There are 3 faculty members in JU- engineering, science and arts. If you want to apply for BE or B.Tech, you may apply for WBJEE first which is totally an online process. Next, if you want to join either B.Sc or BA (UG) programme, then it can be possible from the official website of JU (https://www.jaduniv.edu.in).
In this method, it will be better for you to apply from any professional (cyber cafe and all). For WBJEE your rank (general or reservation) is the main criteria. Next, for Bachelors the marks of the Higher Secondary Examination are the main criteria. Here, you need the best aggregate. Example- If you want to go for B.Sc. Hons

The unique nature of Amrita's management quota is that without writing the entrance (or at least enrolling for the entrance) you cannot attend the meeting for management quota. If you don't have the admit card of the entrance exam when you visit the varsity, Let gods be with you. You just can't get past the security at the entrance of the campus and believe me how famous and influential you are, Amrita security force will humble you with their sternness and ignorance. There was always a rumor that this was a way to alter your ranks after the payment and make the student's admission look like a merit entry. But there was never a proof f

Hi Ahswinder, please check with the universities directly since the admission requirements and process varies. Some universities may allow you to apply before your 12th results are declared while some will not allow you to do so. If you are planning for 2019 intake you have to apply by this year-end. Normally the application process starts a year ahead so admission deadlines will be around Sept to Dec 2018. Check university websites for university specific information.

Hi Latha,
The marks scored in the JEE Advanced depend on the difficulty level of the paper and the marking pattern. Everybody expects the questions to be tough, JEE Advanced is never a cakewalk. However, the marking pattern adds further complexities to an already tough paper. However, it can be safely said that if a general category student has an AIR of approximately 5000 he/she can get one of the IITs because the general category seats are 50% of the total number of 10k seats. At the same time, there are other institutes that use the JEE Advanced scores too. I would suggest that you check out:
