In order to become a professor,the general pattern of education can be BA+MA+M.Phil/PhD or B.Com +M.Com + M.Phil/PhD or BBA +MBA + M.Phil/PhD or BCA + MCA +M.Phil/ PhD
-The best course would be the one, which interests you the most,you can start with identifying an area of interest (any of your commerce subjects or English, Journalism, Mass communication or BBA or BCA (provided you had maths as one of the subjects in class XII)
-Ask yourself whether you want to go in the field of finance or accounting or economics
OR you want to be a subject professor such as English language professor or do you wish to be a management course (HR or finance or marketing)
-In order to decide you can also research about the details of all the above mentioned subjects to understand the type of subjects you may be required to study and accordingly decide your interest area.
