Below are the admission details for UPES.
Eligibility-
Examination Pathway admissions through UPESEAT (Upto 80% of Seats) :
Minimum 60% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th)
Minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level also mandatory.
Non Examination Pathway – admissions through Board Merit / JEE Mains Score (Upto 20% of Seats) :
For Board Merit : Minimum 80% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th) and minimum 80% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level (12th class).
For JEE Mains Merit : Minimum 60% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th) and minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level (12th class).Merit of JEE Mains score to be announced (on UPES website) after the declaration of JEE Mains 2014 results.

For admission in a bachelor’s degree, the candidate must have passed the higher secondary school certificate (10+2) examination with science subject such as physics, maths and chemistry. However, the eligibility and admission details may vary from institute to institute as different institutes have different eligibility and admission procedures. For IITs, It is mandatory to qualify in the Joint Entrance Examinations (J.E.E). The duration for the course is 4 years.
