In order to pursue MS in Canada you need to fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria:
Relevant undergraduate degree from recognized university, in 10+2+4 years of education pattern.
Good academic record throughout preferably 60% plus in graduation.
GRE score of 1100-1200 plus and TOEFL score of 80-90 plus or IELTS score of 6-7 bands plus.
Universities in Canada have 2 admission intakes in a year i.e. Fall (August) and Spring (January) Intake. So first of all you need to decide in which intake you want admission, and then accordingly start your application process at least 6-7 months in advance, it is always advisable to take GRE and TOEFL at least a year in advance of your planned admission intake. Indian administrative service is a toughest competetive examin india. To achieve your goal in upsc preliminary,mains,interviews. u should be a great aspirant. never loose ur hope though u come across or face sum difficulties in ur preparation. if u r strong enough to say "yes, am done" then u hav to knw about sum imp details basis upsc(union public service commission). upsc has got three streams of tests to flow. I) preliminaryII)mainsIII) interviews. probabilities of return back frm interviews though u qualified in ur written xams. is high as 50%. be sure to develop or improve ur commun skills as such going through the one national news paper daily.(mainly if is a hindu keep concentrate on op-ed page, editorial page. strongly. as the standrd in language given there is a bit confused and unfounded words in dictionary too.). be thorough on current affairs what is up to and when. the above details are helpful to clear paper 1 of preliminary i.e (general studies). books: as per my knowledge it would be better if u choose "year india 2011" to clear in general studies paper i.e paper1 in preliminary. now comes paper2). it is an optional course may u can pick one of your graduate courses if available.
