The average CAT score can be considered 198 to 180 for the MBA and the 90+ percentile in any of CAT and MAT can be considered good for admission to the top colleges. 

The minimum criteria is 55% or 2.2/4.0 GPA or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA) in Under Graduate Degree. Students from any stream i.e. Humanities/Sciences/Engineering/Management/Law etc. can apply for any program, however, students may not apply for more than two programs.

No, a minimum score of 70 percentile in CAT, XAT, or MAT is required. The average CAT score can be considered 198 to 180 for the MBA and the 90+ percentile in any of CAT and MAT can be considered good for admission to the top colleges. Additionally, a No Objection Certificate is required from the employer for working executives/sponsored candidates/ candidates on sabbatical/candidates recommended by PSUs/GOI Departments.

IISER admission to B.Sc/Integrated MSc programs is based on the following:
  • Joint Entrance Examination of Indian Institutes of Technology (JEE Advanced)
  • IISER Aptitude Test (IAT)
  • KVPY exam 
     
The IAT is a computer-based test that assesses knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology based on the class 11 and 12 syllabus. Candidates should aim to achieve under 2500 rank in the IAT.
