National Law Institute University Bhopal (NLIU Bhopal) is a public law school and a National Law University located in Bhopal, India. Established in 1997 by the State of Madhya Pradesh, it is the second law school established under the National Law School system. In 2022, it was ranked third among law colleges in India by India Today.

Rajeev Gandhi College, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh was established in the year of 1994. The college offers various UG and PG Programs under Arts, Science and Commerce aegis. The college holds its affiliation with Barkatullah University Bhopal.

NLIU Bhopal maintains a good placement record during its placement drive every year. NLIU Bhopal placements 2023 report has not yet been released. Based on the 2022 NIRF data, a total of 127 students were placed, which include 60 B.A.LLB students, 17 LL.M (1 year) students & 50 LL.M (2 years) students. NLIU Bhopal median CTC of INR 18 LPA was offered to the B.A.LLB batch, a median CTC of INR 6 LPA was offered to the students of 1-year LLM, and a median package of INR 5.5 LPA was offered to the 2-year LLM students, during the placement drive.

NLIU Bhopal is the center for research and a law school established in the year 1997. It is rated among the top three law schools. The university takes 125 undergraduates every year through CLAT (Common Law Admission Test). The students are supposed to complete a total of fifteen trimesters before they can be conferred a combined degree of B.A., LL.B (Hons). Each year is divided into a total of three trimesters each of seventy working days. According to the NIRF rankings 2020, NLSIU is ranked as the best law college in India, followed by National Law University, Delhi (NLUD) and NALSAR at the second and fourth positions respectively . The ranking is based on factors such as teaching, learning and resources, research and professional practice, graduation outcomes, outreach and inclusivity, and perception.

life at the National Law Institute University (NLIU) Bhopal is good. The campus is large, has a lot of greenery, and is located on hills near a dam. 
Some other things to know about life at NLIU include:
  • The campus has separate hostels for first-year and senior students.
  • Many students have bikes or cars on campus and are allowed to keep one.
  • There are autos outside the college GATE that can take you anywhere.
  • The food is fairly decent, but not the best.
  • The library, called Gyan Manza, is large and has many resources.
  • The classes end at 1:30 PM and after that students can go for lunch.
  • The campus also has a large sports complex.

To be eligible for admission to Gujarat Technological University (GTU) for MBA, you need to have passed the last qualifying exam with a minimum of 50%. For the SC/ST/SEBC/EWS category, the minimum passing score is 45%.
