All of the seven branches are considered equal. However, according to the Nature Index, the Pune campus ranked 7th, Bhopal 11th, Mohali 13th, and Thiruvananthapuram 14th. All IISERs are known for their excellent faculty, laboratory facilities, and quality of education they provide.

IISER Thiruvananthapuram is highly recommended and reputed institute to study for Science and research. It is providing a good campus and education facilities with a good courses. The fees of this institute is affordable and you only need good merits to get admission here.

IISER- Thiruvananthapuram - Indian Institute of Science Education & Research has a good campus life and facilities. The institute offers 12 courses in the Science stream. The college has a nice infrastructure and a wifi-enabled campus. The courses offered in IISER are research-oriented and hence not fit for recruitment by IT/professional companies. Hence the institute doesn't have a proper placement cell.

Studying in IISER Thiruvanthapuram is not costly as fees is very affordable as compared to other ones. M.Sc fees is around INR 38-48k and P.hd fees is around INR 50 K -55K annually which is a good rate for all students to study. Moreover, institute is providing good education facilities from highly skilled faculty members and there are placement opportunities for students after completion of their course.

From my perspective each IISER functions independently in terms of their course. The facilities provided might be different in both IISER. Rest there is no comparisons in subjects beacause Science remains everywhere.Currently, IISER'S are relatively new compared to other Science institutions in the country, which are well established and developed and so you have to decide which IISER you are comfortable with.
