To get into Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University for B.Tech course, candidate must meet the required eligiblity criteria i.e. must have passed the qualifying examination 10+2 with 50% having atleast three subjects out of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Agriculture as core courses and obtained minimum mentioned marks. Along with that candidate who have obtained any Diploma or vocational course after matriculation will not be eligible. The medium of instruction in the admitting University will be English. The minimum age limit should be 16 years of age as on 31.08.2023.

Candidates have to secure a valid score in one of the entrance exam i.e. HSTES, JEE Main, ICAR AIEEA to get into CCS HAU. The cutoff for these exams vary every year on various factors like level of questions in the examination total number of aspirants and seats offered.

However, the recently released NIRF report for 2023 provides information on the placements in 2022. According to the report, the university successfully placed 7 undergraduate (4-year) students, 21 postgraduate (2-year) students, and 37 postgraduate (3-year) students during the 2022 placement sessions. Engg.) and B.Tech. (Agril. Engg.) Under the Lateral Entry Scheme that comes under the College of Agriculture Engineering & Technology, Hisar.
