yes after B tech you can appear for GATE exam , but you remember in your degree correspondence degree not mention your b tech degree should be regular because perhaps you can give GATE exam but it is very difficult to get admission in M tech because correspondence Btech degree not valid as per AICTE norms , so you should have to check about the degree it is correspondence , part time or regular , part time may be valid if it is approved by AICTE
