Normally, 50% is the eligibility criterion, which means that just having 50% or more does not guarantee you admission. Because admision at IIFM is based on various other factors like overall personality factors, extra curricular achievements, your GD/PI with IIFM & our corporate panel etc. Since i do not know your background, i would suggest you speak to a counselor at IIFM (9820378996) and share the facts to see the way forward

Hi,
H1b visa is for working professionals to work in USA. Your gap in education has got nothing to do with the visa. The visa officers would review your work experience and would give more emphasis to what you want to do in US and your intentions.
Hope my answer has solved your query. If it has, kindly mark it as best answer.

Hi Vijay,
As per the information available on the Institute Website, there are no distance programs being offered by the institute. Also it is not advised to pursue an engineering program through distance course as the same carries lesser quality and value.
There are rarely any institutes offering distance engineering courses:

Hi Vaishak,
DCMAT is an Autonomous institute which is not approved by any of the Education Council i.e. UGC or AICTE. As far as placements are concerned, For this specific information I would suggest you to visit the institute and interact with the current batch students, moreover I would like to add here that more than the institute the placements would depend on the individual's performance on the programme, and how a person uses the knowledge earned at the time of job placements.
Hope this will be of help. Feel free to put up more queries.
Thanks,
Pooja
