Please remember universities in Canada have 2 admission intake in a year namely:
- Fall (September) intake.
- Spring (January) intake.
So, it would be always advisable to take the IELTS test atleast 2-3 month in advance of your planned admission intake.

After diploma in engineering you may join lateral B.Tech course and can directly enter into the second year. If you want to work alongside then you may join correspondence course.

no college except TOP colleges have 100% placements. OK.Balji , indira, wlkingar, jamnalal.they have 100% palcement. colleges i know are good, still they have 70-90 % placement record
