Since, MAT exam is conducted only for admission to MBA and PGDM/PGP courses. It is a post graduate level business aptitude test comprising Quantitative Aptitude critical reasoning, data interpretation, data sufficiency, language comprehension and general awareness.

The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a nationwide entrance examination organized by the All India Management Association (AIMA) for admission to MBA/PGDM programs at over 800 B-schools across India. This examination occurs in four phases, namely February, May, September, and December, with multiple sessions in each phase.

MAT is conducted through various modes, including offline (Paper Based Test or PBT), online (Computer Based Test or CBT), and remote proctored (Internet Based Test or IBT). Although the fees, exam pattern, and syllabus are consistent across all three modes, the admit card and exam dates differ. Candidates have the flexibility to attempt the MAT in their preferred mode, and they can make multiple attempts, but each session requires separate registration. It is important to note that the score from the most recent MAT test will be considered for the admission process.
