Hi Naveen,
All the good and top ranked universities in US requires a GRE score of 1200 plus and TOEFL score of 80-90 plus for Masters courses, even though its not mentioned, but it would always be advisable to take these tests.

In order to pursue MS in US you need to fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria:
Relevant undergraduate degree from recognized university, in 10+2+4 years of education pattern.
Good academic record throughout preferably 60%.
GRE score of 1200 plus and TOEFL score of 80-90 plus.

Hi Tanveer, if you are planning to to B.Tech then answer is NO. If you are planning for courses like B.Sc It , then yes. First list out all the colleges and apply for them. you may not be able to join in the first round as many aspiring engg students will apply for the same to be on the safe side. But as they withdraw, the seats would be left out and you'll get admission in desired course.
