Congratulations for your marks in 12th. Its good that you have CA as your goal because only the students with strong desire can pursue CA or like courses. No problem if you were a science student, even I was one, I initially faced challenges but later everything was normal, as I too had inclination towards CA. So don't think about challenges they will certainly come and you will have to face them. Remember at the end a warrior always wins but a coward has no chance at all.
As you are an under graduate, you will first have to register yourself with ICAI (the body which can give you the status of a CA if you fulfill the requirements) for CPT, you can consider it as the entrance examination of CA, CPT exams are held in June and December each year and you will have to register 60 days prior to the month of examination you want to appear in (eg. 30th september for december).
So this should be your current step next you will come to know when you register as rules keep changing and different things are applicable to students registered at different times and under graduates and graduates too. In short currently there are three levels and article training of three years. First level is CPT, when you clear it you can register for IPCC which is the next level, after clearing at least Group - I of IPCC you can start your article training along with your Group - II. After completing both groups of IPCC and 2.5 years of articleship you will become eligible for final exams. After clearing both Groups of final and the remaining six months of articleship along with a management training you will become a CA. Of course you have many other things in between too like orientation programs, computer training etc etc.
