Chances are less for getting admission in NITs in 51013 rank and 117 marks in JEE Mains 2017. But if you belong to SC or ST category then you have some chances for getting admission in NITs. But still apply for JoSAA counselling process, if by chance you get admission in NITs.

Mechatronics is good here in SRM, labs are very good and interesting too, faculty is well experienced. But in terms of placement it is poor. There are no specific companies that recruit mechatronics students only, if you take mechatronics then you need to apply for automobile, mechanical or electrical companies for placements.
