When you are done with X/10th, you can join Polytechnic which is a three year course. This is called diploma and is equivalent to 12th. When you take admission in B.Tech after this, you get into 2nd year because the first year is exempted for Lateral Entry/Diploma Holders. You do the degree in continuation of the Diploma Stream. It becomes a three-year course then.

Hi!
B.Com is one of the graduation streams most commerce students opt for. Today, after completion of graduation, there are countless career options one can opt for. However, only having a graduation degree in commerce does not solve the purpose. To face the severe competition in the world, and to assure a decent job, one further needs to opt for either post-graduation or a professional course. You can refer to this link to find the possible career options after B.Com for a bright future https://www.shiksha.com/accounting-commerce/articles/course-options-after-b-com-blogId-12939.
