Hi, you can apply for M.Sc Botany after having completed B.Ed. But, I think you should have done your Bachelor's degree in any B.Sc course, or at least have studied Botany, as an additional subject for being eligible.

You can get admission in any autonomous or any private engineering college whether you complete you Polytechnic from autonomous or private college. Ph.D admissions are announced separately at most of the universities. These days, the routine admissions are going on and these will be followed by Ph.D admissions notices. Kurukshetra University shall be coming up with its forms after July. You have the option to do Ph.D from any reputed university. DU, PU Chandigarh, KUK, Amity, JNU, Himachal Pradesh University and many other state, central and private universities have not yet released their admission forms. Remember that, the number of seats shall be different.

I would like to recommend you to join this college because it provides best placement in Computer science and engineering (CSE). It provides best faculty from IITs and NITs for branches like Civil and Mechanical. It has good campus and Infrastructure. It is best for CSE Department while other branches like Mechanical, Civil, Electrical doesn't have good campus placement but they provide quality education.

You necessarily do not have to. You can try by management quota, as the college usually allocates certain amount of seats for that. But, this entrance's qualify rank will give you more opportunities.
