Success depends on you. College is not a parameter to judge how successful you are or you'll become in future. As far as I'm concerned I haven't completed my graduation yet I have a long way to go. All that matters is how talented and knowledgeable you are. If you are talented you can study in any random college and still grab a very good package offer. Talking about my college, students from our college are in IIM and IIT. Few of them are in Google and Facebook too.

Amity is also a good option for this course but obviously it's costly. You can check whether they consider Bachelor in chemistry marks for admission in Masters at respective colleges’ website.

Yes, your son can seek admission in production engineering directly in 2nd year via lateral entry mode. I would, however advise you to download information brochure from the website of DTE Maharashtra for knowing in detail other requirements.

National Institute of Design (NID) offers admissions to aspirants in Bachelor of Design B. Des Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (GDPD) as well as Master of Design (M.Des) programmes on the basis of their performance in NID Design Aptitude Test. Every university conducts its own entrance test. In some states like Kerala, it is conducted by the state entrance commissioner. Class 12th with PCB is the basic eligibility for BVSc and AH courses.
