See there is no percentage required for getting into iims,instead it is measured in percentiles. percentile means the percentage of candidate who have scored lower than you. For Eg:-If your percentile is 99.9% means 99.9% of candidate's marks is lower than yours. and generally,it is very competitive so you have to score above 99 percentile. good luck

There is no such difference between MS and M.Tech, most of the Indian universities provide M.Tech degree while foreign universities provide MS degree, so forget about MS and M.Tech, try to choose a good institute in India or abroad.

Your marks may effect in college placements because normally 60% is the minimum criteria for all the companies. You can check with the eligibility criteria of companies and then apply accordingly. Also, try for off campus placement. Although, companies through E litmus also consider marks but once you get placement and gain experience after that it will not matter a lot.
