No, aspirants wishing to apply for BDes course at VIT Vellore should either have UCEED score or appeared for VIT DAT (Design Aptitude Test). VIT-DAT is a written exam of two hours duration consisting of objective type questions - MSQ & MCQ, short descriptive answers, and creative ability questions with no negative marking.
