Hi, Electrical and Electronics Engineering is one of the core branches of Engineering studies started as Electrical Engineering.
After completion of the course you have an option to go for higher studies or get jobs.
You may go for MBA, M.E or M.Tech. You can start preparing for exams like GATE and CAT depending on which higher education stream you would like to go in for.
In India, there are not many short term job oriented courses for BE Electrical engineering graduates. If you wish to pursue a software engineering career you can go in for some diploma programs in computing from institutes like NIIT. As you are pursuing undergraduate degree in IT, it would be advisable for you to pursue Masters in the same or related fields as it will add on to the knowledge of what all you have learned during graduation.
If you wish to pursue MBA, from good and top ranked universities abroad you need to have minimum 2-3 years of full time work experience after graduation.
So if you wish to pursue MBA, it would be always advisable to work for some years after graduation, gain relevant work experience and then apply for MBA.
