You will get calls for WAT/PI depending on which all colleges you have applied for. With your mentioned percentile you might get calls from IMT, IMI, baby IIM's and likes. If you convert them, you get an admit to join these colleges.

Yes, it is good but you have to appear for CAT and the percentile you get there will act as a deciding factor along with these to get into IIMs. Get more than 95 percentile to get into a top IIM.

Hi Aravind,
It is you to choose whether you wish to go for higher studies or into placement, but once you start working you tend to lose the enthusiasm for completing higher education. So my advice would be that if you're keen to learn more then you should ideally go for M.Tech or MBA first that will open up better employment opportunities for you in future.
In fact, you can get admission in the following institutes/B schools that not are best in India but also provide guaranteed placements to good students.
1. Thapar university
2. LMTSM
3. FMS
4. IIT
5. College of Engineering
6. DTU
7. Narcee Monjee Institute

Hi,
Every specialization is in demand in its respective sector, hence ideally you should choose what you enjoy and career interests. The most popular ones are structural, materials, construction and urban engineering. Coastal engineering, environmental engineering are also trending. Australia overall is very good for civil engineers, check if you would be interested if mining engineering too as this is the most sought after.

It depends, how do you define normal. It varies from Rs 20,000 for the whole program to Rs 20 lakhs in case of IIM-A. On an average, considering top 25 B-Schools, it would hover around Rs 10-15 lakhs.

Hi Indu,
You can appear for the GMAT but if you want to apply for MBA programs abroad you must have work experience. Countries like US, Canada require 4-year undergraduate degree. Select the country first, do some more research on requirements, ask more questions and then decide.
