In the career you are planning to opt for B.Com (H) will definitely enhance your chances as Honors programmes in India holds better recognition not only in the Education sector but also in other job markets.
I would like to add here that although you can start your career in Banking just after completing your graduation but if you are planning for a long term career in banking sector you should go for a Masters level programme like MBA in Finance from a decent full time Institute.
As far as teaching is concerned you need to have Masters or a PhD degree to work as a lecturer in private Institutes and for Government Universities
