Hi.First of all why do you want to change your focus? Is there any reason behind it? since you are from bio stream, the electives would be reflected in your certificate. How ever, there is a provision to write an additional exam in the desired subject if the other subjects remain the same (Phy, chem, eng, 2nd lang,). But for that you have to put extra effort and if costs bith time and money. My sincere request to you is to re look at the available channels to you with out changing the discipline. So, please let me know why do you want to change .if your answer is justified and valid then we'll explore it further.
Regards,
Gomti

Hi Jagdeep, both the Universities are very good. But york is a more Arts relate University and MAnchester is well known for Business and IT related courses. So in my opinion you should opt for Manchester. If you go through the History of Manchester University you will find that the University was first established as a science and Engg inst called UMIST. Hence in my personal opinion you should opt for Manchester University.

Hi Aanchal,
Well Mass Comm does not require any educational background, all it requires is the right amount of hard work and interest and yes of course you can pursue Mass Comm. after pursuing medical in 11th and 12th, but yes they wont relate and as a result people avoid it.
Mass Comm is a very broad term which includes many things such as journalism, production, direction, cinematography, advertising etc. As it will be difficult for me to explain every category of Mass Comm to you in brief, I am providing you with few article links below, kindly refer to them to get a better idea.

namaste Raghuramulu garu, Nice to know that you want to become a lecturer either in college of engg or in any professional college. You can do this by preparing your resume and sending it to the colleges in your area. Since you are in the final year, you may highlight the project you did and do add a paragraph on why do you want to become a lecturer instead of a software engineer. If you want to UGC scale then you may have to clear Net or SET(if it there in your state as some states like AP have put a ban on the exam).
All the best,
You can revert back if you have any quiries,
All the best,
Gomti
